OVERVIEW

CWC Auto Services has been operating as Canberra car service and repair workshop since 1980. It is an independent entity working from the original premises within a kilometre of the Canberra city centre. It was originally set up as a training facility but had a mandate to require minimal or no external funding.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

The employee can expect to gain the theoretical and practical training possible in this industry if the employee has the appropriate background, motivation and attitude. They will gain experience in all aspects from technical through to advanced administration and possibly even part ownership of the business.

MEET OUR HAPPY STAFF

One of our staff came to the business from another country and had limited English language skills. With intense personal application, that person is now a part owner and will soon complete his trade apprenticeship. Another person started elsewhere in this industry and was able to proceed but came to us and has advanced his technical skills to where he could match many tradesmen despite being only part way through his apprenticeship.

Many others have continued on to work in other areas of the industry with solid training behind them
